Get Involved
Short Courses in the Woman Warrior Academy will be highlighted quarterly. They will be virtual and in-person for those living in the Boise Metro Area (Treasure Valley) and range in topic. They include movement-based classes that last just an hour or two to short-term programs that can be 3-7 days. Stay tuned for more to come beginning 2023.

Fall 2023:

  • The Ayurvedic View of Trauma:

In this 120-minute workshop participants will learn how Ayurveda views trauma from a holistic, multi-dimensional perspective based in mind, body, and spirit. Discussion points include the following concepts:

  • Our disconnection from source and the nature of trauma imbalance.
  • The influence of the doshas (personal mental-emotional constitutional types).
  • The effect of the gunas (modes of material nature).
  • The 3F Response: flight, fight and freeze.
  • The impact had on the autonomic, sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.

The session will conclude with experiential learning as well as lecture and discussion. The workshop intention is to allow participants to understand the Vedic view on trauma and demystify common misunderstandings about this complex topic.

LIVE Cohort Launches: Monday, August 28, 2023 - Thursday, December 14, 2023.

This 108 Day Program is for women that want to step into their power and live their best life authentically. Becoming is a process and great care must be taken - diligence is required. This is where goals become vision and vision becomes lifestyle.

For 108 days (3.5 months) you will go through a process of purification and strengthening on the level of the mind, the body, and the soul by engaging in eight simple activities per day that cover your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual self. They don't take longer then 60 minutes in total. You will log these activities daily, post about them in the online woman warrior circle and on social media (#ayurveda108), share about them and ask questions about them. This is how you evolve. This is how you train – in community with the support of other women just like you. You are not alone. We've got you!

Activities to be done daily for the next 108 days:

  1. Breathing/Pranayama – 8 minutes per day.
  2. Meditation– 8 minutes per day.
  3. Diet – 50% plant-based/vegetarian each meal per day.
  4. Water –1 gallon per day.
  5. Exercise – 30 minutes per day.
  6. Reading – 8 pages per day (recommended reading list in the WW Circle).
  7. Gratitude Journaling – 8 minutes per day on what you are grateful for.
  8. Community Interaction – in the Woman Warrior Online Circle + on your social media platform daily.

If you miss an activity on any day along the path you just keep moving forward. You can always begin again. You can do this.

About Level 2 Engagement

Level 2 is a series of short (1-5 day) and middle (6-108 day) course program opportunities to train and get inspiration with other women through a variety of academy opportunities. Learn principles that can be applied to your life immediately, enjoy yoga and meditation practices, delight in Ayurvedic cooking, train in our Woman Warrior Fitness Program and most importantly, learn more about yourself.

Today's world demands so much from women so it is important to replenish your life force, your "mojo" so you are not continuously pouring from an empty cup.

Level 2 is an opportunity to connect with other women that are interested in living a full and healthy life. Your guides in these activities will help you move past blocks so you can live your best life confidently and radiantly.

Level 2 training brings women together in interesting and creative ways. This can include dining events, seasonal talks, health and wellness sessions, mini retreats, self-defense and fitness classes, outdoor wilderness adventures and a myriad of other educational and fun spaces to interact in-person and online.
